A Very Wise Person Once Said

"Kindness is contagious."

Your child's party guests

Your child's party guests are always so excited they can hardly wait for the birthday child to open the gift they brought just for them.

And your child's guests really hope your child will like the gift they picked out for them.

So with that in mind, it's very easy to see how much a simple thank you note will mean.

Spend a moment

Spend some time before your party guests start arriving to talk with your child about remembering to thank everyone who arrives.

And to thank each guest for the gift they brought.

If A Guest Doesn't Bring A Gift

Make sure your child thanks them for coming to the party and for the special card they may have brought for them.

Remember to have a piece of paper and a pen handy when your child opens their gifts. This way you can easily write down the name of each child and which gift they brought.

Sometime after the party, you can sit down with your child and write short thank you notes to each guest.

Put some creative thought into your thank you notes and you'll be surprised how many parents will display your child's thank you note on their family's kitchen refrigerator door.

A simple note with a fun sticker or drawing or still photograph from the party will be very appreciated.

And your child will learn how important it is to be kind, considerate, and thankful for the gift or card they received.

In fact, the small but kind act of sending a thank you note might even make an impression on lots of other people as well.

Have FUN
