Fun Bubble Recipe

Everyone loves blowing bubbles

Here's a fun bubble recipe and some fun tips on how to make bigger and better bubbles at your next party. Wow.

Fun Homemade Bigger, Better Bubble Recipe

  • First, combine water and some detergent. Stir it well, but don't shake
  • For stronger bubbles, add ½ cup corn syrup or glycerin, or you can add more detergent
  • You might want to try different brands of dish-washing detergent until you find one that you like the best

  • Bigger, Better Bubbles

For bigger, better bubbles, give this a try.

Blow gently (not too hard) and don't hold the wand too close when you blow.

When you've blown a big bubble, give a quick twist of your wrist to seal it.

Mix up your bubble solution two to three days in advance.

Make sure your bubble maker (or wand) and anything your bubble may touch is wet.

Place the bubble maker in the bubble solution for a few seconds and don't swish it around. If you do, it causes your solution to foam up and you won't be able to blow good bubbles.

Cool humid days are the best for really good bubbles. Or you can try using a shady area if there's one near you and available.

    Bubble Bottles

You need fun Bubble Bottles for all the kids--and be sure to get one for yourself so you can join in the fun.

    * A Tip From Grandpa Mike

Bubbles are lots of fun and make a great activity for your birthday party, but be careful.

Bubbles can be messy and very slippery! Try blowing bubbles outdoors or if you blow bubbles indoors, be careful, especially if you're standing on tile or some other smooth surface (you don't want someone to slip and fall.

    And that includes your pets.

And be sure and have everyone help clean up when your bubble activity is over.

    Bubbles

Kids like them best--but even adults love bubbles.

When children play with bubbles they laugh and have so much fun. In fact, our family dog had as much fun as we did playing with bubbles. Maybe more!

Our dog would run, chase the bubbles and jump up and pop them. Our entire family had so much fun watching our pet go after the bubbles.

So use this bubble recipe to make up a batch of good clean bubble fun.

    Have FUN
