Have someone dress up in jeans, overhauls, a farm shirt and a straw hat. And use a prop like a garden hoe or a rake or shovel, put together your invitations (along with your animal dress up stickers or a farm animal coloring page) and hand deliver your invitations - super fun!

Knock on the door and ask for the child you're going to invite. When they see a "farmer" has come to visit, they'll be very curious. You can say something like this.

"I'm farmer (your name) and I'm here to invite you to farmer (name of your birthday child)'s birthday party."

"Farmer (name of your birthday child) is turning (number of years) old and we're havin a farm style barnyard theme party."

"Our farm fun starts a (time you party begins) on (day and date of the party)."

And all the fun takes place at the (your family name) barn at (address of your party location)."

Now hand your invited guest their printed invitation.

"All the details are right in here, and be sure to look inside that envelope because there's a very special farm project you need to do before you come to our farm style barnyard party."

    Old McDonald Had A Farm

But it wasn't as much fun as your farm birthday party is going to be!

    The Song Goes Like This:

"Old McDonald had a farm EIEIO, and on his farm he had a pig, EIEIO, with an oink-oink here and an oik-oink there, here an oink, there an oink, everywhere an oink-oink, old McDonald had a farm EIEIO."

The song keeps being repeated by adding another farm animal like a cow, horse, chicken, duck, lamb, dog, cat and any other farm animal you can think of.

Now put the farm, and old McDonald's barnyard animals together for a really great birthday party theme.
