Gumball Machine Birthday Party

by Debbie
(PA)

My daughter recently turned 7.

She requested a "Gumball Machine Party". At first, I had no idea how this would go over but after some thinking and a little research, the party turned out great.

I made this Gumball Machine Cake and it turned out SOOO CUTE!

We played "pin the gumballs on the gumball machine", which was just a gumball machine painted on a piece of poster board. We then used colorful pom poms and attached tape to the back of each one. The kids took turns being blindfolded and seeing how many "gumballs" they could get on the gumball machine.

The party favors were a small inexpensive gumball machine for each child. Since the kids were older, I didn't think this would pose a choking hazard. I picked up the gumball machines for about $3 each.

These are just a few ideas for a fun gumball party. Enjoy!

Creative Gumball Machine Party Ideas
by: Grandpa Mike

Debbie:

Your daughter's 7th birthday went from being a bit of an off the wall theme request, to becoming a very fun, creative birthday party that I'm sure your daughter will remember for a long time to come.

Did you take pictures? If so, please post your best one here so we can see the fun for ourselves.

Your "Pin the Gumballs on the Gumball Machine" game was very creative and you deserve 4 stars for that one.

And your Gumball Machine cake fit your theme perfectly.

Your Gumball Machine party favors were also a great idea.

Thank you for sharing your daughter's 7th birthday with us and we really appreciate how much fun and creativity you put into your daughter's party.

Grandpa Mike

Have fun
