I definitely commend you for all of the searching you did, but since my children have milk and nut allergies, I find it easier to make most of their stuff from scratch. Since you normally have most of the supplies on hand anyway, you can cater to each child's allergies. In the end this saves a lot of gas!

There are so many children with allergy problems and most cake recipies don't take that into consideration.
Your peanut-free recipe sounds yummy and lots of fun.
