Princess and the Pirate Birthday Party by: Grandpa Mike
Tiffany:
4 year old twins -- sounds like a fun birthday party.
Grandma Mary and I thought about this one and came up with:
The Princess and the Pirate birthday party!
Instead of a cake, it will be much easier (and lots of fun) to have cup cakes, some with Princess toppers and some with Pirate toppers
You can have a lot of fun with your invitations. Here's some sample wording.
"The Princess and the Pirate are turning 4 years old"
"You're invited to a perfectly royal celebration fit for a princess and -- Aaarr! Thar be Pirates too at this here party sez me."
"Princess (child's first name) is turning 4 -- and our little Pirate (child's first name) is turning 4"
"Set sail for our high-seas adventure and our royal celebration on (day and date of your party) at (time your party starts) and join us for all the fun."
"The king and queen are sending you this special proclamation and royal invitation."
"Now hoist the anchor and get ready for a treasure chest full of birthday fun -- just follow our Pirates map (include a map of your party location on parchment paper) and remember me buckos that X marks the spot."
"RSVP by calling the royal phone number (your phone number)"
"The Princess and the Pirate birthday party is going to be a grand adventure. An ye be invited ta fly the Jolly Roger and set sail with us."
