Before we get started, take a look at these fun Shrek Party Supplies for even more birthday fun. Using some bright green paper, cut out Shrek's head. Then cut a slit for Shrek's mouth. Using white paper, cut out a speech bubble (like the one used in comic books when someone is talking). Take a green pen and write your invitation on the white bubble. Insert the bubble inside the slit you made for Shrek's mouth. When your guests receive their invitation, they pull up the bubble and Shrek talks to them (well sort of)... Your invitation might start off with something like this. "Your invited to the land of Far Far Away for a very special Shrek birthday party."
With all birthday parties you want to be sure and mail out your invitations in plenty of time. Try to mail out your invitations at least two weeks before your party. If your party is for children under 6 years of age, keep your party time to around 2 hours. For older children limit the party to no more than 3 hours. You'll be glad you did!
