Games And Activities
How Many Spiders Are There?
Even more fun with your Spider man birthday party theme.
Fill a large glass or jar with plastic spiders. On a piece of paper, write each guests name.
As your guests arrive, have them guess how many spiders are in the glass.
At the end of the party, the one who came closest to the actual number of spiders in the glass is the winner.
*A Tip From Grandpa Mike
Remember to count the spiders as you put them in the glass---then write down the actual number of spiders on a separate piece of paper.
Then put the paper away in a safe place until the end of your birthday party.
Coloring Book Fun
Take the pages out of a Spiderman coloring book and pick up several small boxes of crayons.
As a fun party activity, your guests can color their favorite action hero picture.
Crafts
Using small paper plates (for spider bodies), have your party guests color the paper plates black then fasten black pipe cleaners for legs, add eyes and glitter and they've created their very own spider.
*A Tip From Grandma Mary
This is a great "get your party started" craft activity or it can be used as a wind down activity.
Be sure and have each party guest write their name on their spider so they can take it home.
Spiderman Sez
Everyone will love playing "Simon Sez" when you match that popular game with your theme by calling it Spiderman Sez.
Super Balloon Hero
Get 2 large old shirts and 2 large old pants.
Fill a whole bunch of red and black balloons full of air.
Get a Spiderman music CD.
Now get your camera ready to capture the fun.
Put together 2 teams and have 1 person in each team put on a large shirt and large pants over their regular clothes.
Now start your CD music and have each team stuff as many balloons as they can under the old large clothes now worn by their team member.
Put a time limit of 1 minute on the game.
When 1 minute is up, count the number of balloons each team successfully stuffed under their team member's clothes.
The team who stuffed the most balloons wins.
